FAQ

Can I use it on any body part?

Yes. It comes with different cup sizes so it fits your neck, shoulders, back, arms, and legs. Wherever the pain is, it reaches. Even comes with scraping if you want to move the cup around.

Can I use it if I have a health condition?

The Smart Cupper works well for many types of muscle and tissue pain. That said, if you have a serious medical condition, an implanted device, or are pregnant, please check with your doctor first.

Do I need to use it every day to see results?

No. Most people use it 3 to 4 times a week for 15 minutes per session. Some feel a difference after the very first use. Consistency matters more than frequency.

Is it hard to use if I've never done cupping before?

Not at all. Place it on the spot that hurts, press power, and start on the lowest setting. The device does the rest.

Will it leave marks on my skin?

It can leave light red circles after a session. This is normal. It just means blood came to the surface. The marks fade within 24 to 72 hours. They are not painful and they are not bruises.

Can I use it on my own back without help?

Yes. That's the whole point. The suction holds the device in place on its own. Once it's on, you control everything with the remote. No one needs to touch it or adjust it for you.

What if it doesn't work for me?

Try it for 30 days. Use it on your neck, your shoulders, your upper back. If you don't feel a difference, contact us and we will refund you in full. No questions asked. We offer this because we know what the research shows and we know what our customers experience. The guarantee exists because we are confident, not desperate.

What happens if it breaks or stops working?

MyoVi Smart Cuppers are built to last. We also offer a 2-year warranty so you can have peace of mind. No hoops, no lengthy back and forth. Just a replacement.

Cupping burns. I've seen the horror stories.

Those burns come from fire cupping, where an open flame is used to heat a glass cup before placing it on the skin. One clinical study documented 20 severe burn cases requiring an average hospital stay of 10.9 days, with 8 patients requiring skin grafts. MyoVi uses electronic suction. There is no flame, no heat source near the skin, and no burn risk whatsoever. The heat function warms the device itself gently and never exceeds a safe therapeutic temperature, unlike flames. Our cupping device also comes with a heat protection chip, most smart cupping devices don't.

Why not just buy a cheap silicone kit for $10?

Silicone cups are static. They sit in one spot and do nothing else. The Smart Cupper uses dynamic suction that pulses, plus heat and red light at the same time. That combination is what gets results. A $10 cup cannot do that and falls off easily.

I've tried everything and nothing has worked long-term. Why would this be different?

Because everything you've tried has been compressing tissue downward, massage guns, foam rollers, even professional massage. MyoVi pulls tissue upward using negative pressure, separating locked fascial layers that compression can never reach. It's not a better version of what you've tried. It works in the opposite direction entirely.

How long does a session actually take?

10 minutes. Set it on the problem area, select your suction level, and let it work while you sit on your couch. There is no warm-up routine, no setup, no cleanup. The 30-minute auto-shutoff means you can even fall asleep with it running. Most users report noticeable relief within the first session.

I tried cupping at a spa once and it didn't do much.

Static cupping, a cup placed on skin with no movement, no heat, no red light, and no dynamic pulsing, is to MyoVi what a bicycle is to a car. They both have wheels. That's where the comparison ends. MyoVi's suction cycles and pulses in real time, mimicking the technique of a skilled therapist rather than just sitting still. Add simultaneous therapeutic heat to warm the fascia and red light therapy penetrating deep into the tissue and what you experienced at the spa was a fraction of what MyoVi delivers in a single session.

I already own a massage gun. Why do I need this?

Your massage gun is making it worse. That's not an opinion, it's documented. A 25-year-old woman was hospitalized with rhabdomyolysis after a 10-minute percussion gun session, her creatine kinase levels exceeded 30,000 U/L, 150 times the normal level. Massage guns pound tissue downward, break blood vessels, and cause bruising and inflammation. One medical center put it plainly: the relief you feel when you turn it off isn't your muscle releasing, it's just relief from the hammering. The soreness comes back worse the next day. MyoVi does the opposite. It lifts tissue upward, restores blood flow, and lets your muscle actually heal instead of absorbing more impact.

How is this different from a cheap silicone cupping kit?

Silicone kits create uncontrolled static suction with no pressure regulation. One Amazon reviewer warned: "With a strong pump you may even destroy the skin." They lose suction mid-session, fall off, and deliver zero heat, zero red light, and zero dynamic pulsing. At best they do nothing. At worst they injure you. MyoVi uses precisely calibrated dynamic suction that cycles and adjusts in real time — combined with therapeutic heat and red light therapy simultaneously. A silicone kit is an uncontrolled rubber cup. MyoVi is a 4-in-1 professional-grade recovery system with 3 adjustable levels so you are always in complete control of the pressure.

Is cupping actually backed by science or is it just a wellness trend?

Cupping has been documented in medical practice for 3,500 years across Egypt, Greece, China, and Islamic medicine independently. A 2024 peer-reviewed meta-analysis found cupping produced superior and sustained pain reduction compared to medication and standard care for chronic low back pain. Michael Phelps used it to win 23 Olympic gold medals. It is not a trend. It was buried by 19th century pharmaceutical interests and is now being revalidated by modern research.
